Incorporated in December of 1990 in the midst of a worsening economic recession, PriMedia Inc. was founded on the basic premise that most advertisers unknowingly pay far more money for media than they need to (and receive far less in return) and that they would welcome the opportunity to save 20% to 40% while receiving the exact same media schedules. The accuracy of this premise can best be judged by the fact that PriMedia's capitalized billings have grown to $34.2 million in less than eight years since its founding, with recent account acquisitions expected to bring total billings to $40 million by the end of this year.

Because of our unique "virtual agency" structure, PriMedia currently employs 15 people (all with background or previous experience in the broadcast industry or print media) with the ability to add personnel on an "as needed" basis. Our numerous "partnering" relationships also allow us to have as many qualified people as needed on a "given" project or account at any given time only as long as is necessary to complete the project. The end result is a buying service that spends its client's money as if it were our own - carefully and effectively - while constantly striving to negotiate the most cost efficient schedules possible. This unique approach works because of our extensive knowledge of exactly what the lowest possible prices are on station rate cards, publications, and alternative media and because of our ability to obtain the most efficient placement of commercials, in different time periods throughout the broadcast day, in order to maximize audience reach. In addition, we deliver "value added" media schedules for our clients by knowing how and when it's possible to obtain additional "bonus" (free) spots that significantly improve the overall effectiveness of these schedules, as well as value added promotions generally worth as much as half the value of the schedule being placed.
